Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently had dinner at Dear Claus Steakhouse and Restaurant and it was amazing! The steak was perfectly cooked — juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. The side dishes, especially the mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables, complemented the meal perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy but classy. Definitely one of the best steak experiences I’ve had. Highly recommended!

Arrived at 9:15PM they close at 10PM. Staff were upfront that the food takes 20-25 minutes to serve. 1. Complementary bread - 5/5. Delicious, fluffy, buttery with sweet yema filling. Perfect filling to bread ratio. 2. Mushroom soup - 5/5. Creamy and savoury with a hint of meaty flavour. Mushroom to soup ratio was just perfect, not too finely chopped that it’s basically mushroom every bite. 3. Freezers (shakes) - 5/5. Certified DC favorite we always get the salted caramel but the mango and lychee are amazing too. 4. Steak - 4.5/5. Wished the potatoes had a bit more flavor and the garlic a bit more charred BUT we got there near closing time and it was the perfect medium rare + not too salty either 5. Sisig - 4/5. A good sisig in a steak house. 2nd time ordering in this branch and it was as good as I remembered it. Bonus: • steak rice - 4/5. It wasn’t bad i just prefer the garlic rice hahaha everybody else loved it. • staff - extremely kind and patient. Attentive as well and were on top of all our needs.

I was eating at a restaurant nearby when I saw this restaurant and got intrigued by the name so I came back a week later to try this restaurant out. As the name suggests, there were a lot of Santa Claus paper mache statues that were being placed strategically around the restaurant as part of its decor. Though it's only August, the decor has a distinct Christmas / Yuletide theme to it. There's a small dining area at the ground level and a larger dining area upstairs across different multiple rooms. As they are rooms, they can easily be divided for private events with each room able to hold 10-15 people I guess. There was only 1 toilet and it's shared so if the upper dining area gets packed, the toilet might get a long queue. The food was good. The pumpkin soup was quite rich. Caesar salad was yummy. The baked shrimp was good as well though I thought the rice that came with it was too much. The tinapa Laing was excellent. On the steak... It was ok with a strong taste of rosemary so it boils down to a matter of preference. I prefer my meat a bit plainer with only salt and maybe a touch of pepper. Dessert was the brownie, the revel bar and the burnt cheesecake which is currently a trendy cheesecake in Manila. Funnily enough I liked the brownie best. Sometimes simpler is indeed better. This restaurant is new so there weren't any other diners so the staff was very attentive to us. They also showed me around the restaurant which was nice. Price wise, this restaurant isn't cheap. If you're having some steak and seafood, be prepared to spend 2k+ per person but if not then maybe 800/person is ok.

We had buttered shrimps and tasted good, just a bit overcooked. The sizzling beef was tender and tasty. Service is exceptional
